Chaotic vs Geometric Pattern

The theme I was looking at for these photos follows the theme for my studio practice in ceramics. The first set of photos are ink in water. The images where taken using a white backgorund and a controlled light source. I then set my camera on a fast shutter speed with a small apperature. This helped capture the motion of the ink with minimal blurring as the ink moves quite fast, however with a compact camera it is difficult to capture the clear sharpness I desired in these photos.

The second set of pictures taken are of bubbles. The pictures where taken using the same settings as the ink and water pictures with a macro lens. I had a transparent bucket with soap and water sitting ontop of a lightbox to take the phots. Afer blowing air into the liquid the phots where taken. I then cropped the photos and upped the contrast and light balance in photoshop.
